RPCVs joined the Peace Corps staff at the unveiling on Friday, June 24th, 2011, then celebrated by going to lunch (of course!)

  • President Obama recently issued a proclamation regarding the 50th anniversary of the Peace Corps. Read the proclamation.


  • "Images from the Peace Corps Experience--Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Peace Corps", an ever-changing exhibit of photos and paintings by RPCVs traveled to several venues, and were viewed by hundreds of people.

  • The NW group of RPCVs got together at a local restaurant in late February, 2011. Pictures and a short story about the event are at Peace Corps Connect.
